What $2,500 covers
One tank, two jobs: a softening resin section and an activated carbon section, run by a metered Clack WS1 valve.
Equipment
- Single-tank system with two treatment sections — 48,000-grain softening resin and activated carbon.
- Clack WS1 1" digital metered control valve — regenerates on actual water use, not a timer.
- Brine (salt) tank for automatic regeneration.
- Bypass valve — isolate the system for service without shutting off water to the house.
- Standard fittings, valve cover and connections.
Installation
- Delivery and placement.
- Tie-in to your existing softener loop.
- Setup and programming for your water and household.
- Leak testing and operational testing.
- Startup and homeowner walkthrough — bypass, salt fill, what's normal.
- Removal and haul-away of your old softener.
Not included
- Additional plumbing. Opening walls or running new lines is quoted separately and approved with you before any work begins.

Do you have a softener loop?
Many new homes are plumbed with one — a pair of capped pipes waiting for a softener. If you have one, your install is standard and the $2,500 price applies.
